New Initiative – Digital Inclusion Drop-in Sessions

*A brand new initiative to support our Glendale communities*

Digital inclusion has become increasingly important when online has become the default for most organisations.

Bell View of Belford and The Glendale Gateway Trust are working together to support local people with any digital needs they may have.
There will be weekly sessions in both Wooler and Belford, with free transport offered if required. You may also request some help in the comfort of your own home.

We are delighted to provide a friendly, supportive and jargon-free approach to empower people to become both more IT literate and to develop peer-support networks.

Bring your own IT device, or you are welcome to use the equipment provided at the sessions to ensure everyone has equal access to IT.

Our Digital Inclusion Officers will be on hand to support people to feel more confident and increase social connections. If you ever feel like you need some guidance with any of the following, pop along to any of our weekly sessions:

Online shopping/banking
Emailing
Video calling
Training/webinars/E learning
Device familiarisation
etc etc….

Refreshments will also be available.

Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information on 01668 282406, or pop along to any session.

Sessions are currently on Fridays from 2 to 4pm at the Cheviot Centre.
