An excellent new initiative is coming up at The Cheviot Centre on Tuesday 18th March for any residents affected by Parkinsons.
Places Leisure in collaboration with Parkinsons UK will be delivering a Parkinsons “Move and Shout” session from 2-3pm.
The class is tailored to address the specific needs of those living with Parkinsons, providing targeted physical activity sessions with the goal of improving participants’ quality of life, enhance motor skills, and fostering a supportive community.
They will also have a community van and aim to conduct some NHS health checks for residents at the same time as delivering the session.
No need to book – anyone can just come along and join in.
