*New Accessible Bathroom – The Cheviot Centre*
We are delighted to show you our brand new fully accessible bathroom that we have recently installed at The Cheviot Centre.
The first of its kind in the Glendale area – this state-of-the-art facility will make life much easier for people with disabilities and their carers who visit the centre.
The bathroom includes a shower, toilet with supports and a height adjustable adult sized changing bench.
We hope that it will be much used by locals and visitors and offer a better sense of independence and comfort to many.
We are very grateful to Barmoor Wind Farm and Northumberland County Council Community Chest for their generous funding to help us to install this invaluable facility.
A very big thank you also to Alan Dewar for his hard work and expertise. Alan worked tirelessly and on his own to finish our new facility in less than 3 weeks.
