Rural Advocacy

'providing a voice for Glendale'

Rural Advocacy

Communities in Glendale can feel disconnected from services provided by Northumberland County Council and other organisations.

People are not always aware of, or able to access, the support they need to live well and thrive.

Rural advocacy works to connect people to existing services while raising awareness of our rural community needs with appropriate organisations.

Our vision for Glendale is where all our communities:

  • Are aware and informed of the support available to them
  • Can access the help they need, regardless of where they live
  • Feel connected to County Council, voluntary and community sector services
  • Feel engaged, heard and included in their community

Do you know what support is available?

Can you access the services you need?

Community Engagement

Working in partnership with other community champions, we are coming to your community groups and village halls throughout 2024 to gather information and listen to your experiences so we can advocate for change.

Please come along and chat to us to ensure our rural voice is heard loud and clear.

If you would like to arrange a Community Engagement Session in your village or group, please get in touch:
